Camping Aichelberg is quietly and naturally situated on the Albtrauf, making it the perfect base for hiking, cycling, and exploring the Swabian Alb. At the same time, its convenient location near the A8 motorway makes it an ideal stopover for travelers heading south or returning.
Guests can enjoy a modern, comfortable sanitary building with showers, toilets, individual wash cabins, a children’s bathroom, and barrier-free facilities – ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Camping Pitches
Our pitches are suitable for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, and are located either in the shade of tall trees or out on open meadows. Depending on availability, staying with a coupled rig is also possible – perfect for a relaxed overnight stop. Unmarked, mostly gravelled areas are provided for this purpose.

Woody-Tramp Camping Cabins
Close to nature, modern, and cozy – the Woody-Tramp camping cabins are perfect for hikers, cyclists, travelers, or as a comfortable alternative to a tent. They accommodate up to two people and are ideal for a relaxed overnight stop on the way to your holiday destination.
The cabins are well insulated and equipped with electricity, lighting, and an electric heater. Two single beds (80 × 200 cm) with mattresses are provided and can be pushed together if needed. A small kitchen counter with a mini fridge and a covered terrace invite you to relax – perfect for enjoying a peaceful evening.
The modern sanitary facilities, including showers, individual wash cabins, dishwashing and laundry areas, as well as toilets, are located in the central sanitary building and can be used free of charge.
Smoking and pets are not allowed in the cabins.
Pillows, blankets, and bed linen are included. Please bring your own towels and dish towels.

Original Finkota Camping Barrels
At Camping Aichelberg, the popular Original Finkota camping barrels can be rented. They are perfect for experienced campers traveling without their own vehicle, as well as for anyone looking to escape everyday life and enjoy a special “glamping” experience. Tent campers also find a cozy alternative here in bad weather, while travelers use the barrels for a comfortable overnight stop.
The camping barrels provide a sheltered, comfortable retreat. The pinewood walls create warmth and a pleasant, inviting atmosphere.
Electrical outlets and an infrared heater are provided. At the end of the barrel is a spacious double bed (200 × 200 cm) with a slatted frame. A table can be pulled out from under the bed, complemented by two benches inside the barrel.
The modern sanitary facilities, including showers, individual wash cabins, dishwashing and laundry areas, as well as toilets, are available in the central sanitary building free of charge.
Smoking and pets are not allowed in the camping barrels.

At the campsite bistro, we offer a small selection of dishes at reasonable prices – and in good weather, you can enjoy them on the garden terrace. All meals are also available to take away.
In the surrounding area, you will also find numerous inns and restaurants, many of which are within walking or cycling distance. In just a few minutes by car, you can reach Weilheim and Kirchheim, with their street cafés, beer gardens, traditional Swabian inns, and a wide variety of restaurants.
